I will be taking a quick road trip myself, hopefully by the end of this month (August). I'm headed to a casino resort about two hours away by car.
Living in the Midwest, there are many casinos nearby, which I occasionally frequent on day trips. But it's also fun to get out of town sometimes for a nice relaxing weekend.
Going to drive up to the mountains this coming weekend, my last summer break before the cool fall weather starts. I guess I could wait till September but I want to make sure I go while it's still hot. And maybe I'll get to the beach one last time too.
